In Ducks this half term we have been learning about ourselves and others. We looked at our faces and took selfies of ourselves, we labelled our faces. We have really enjoyed our different bucket group sessions and all the children have engaged in the attention getter and the attention builder activity. We particularly loved the face splat and sand sprinkle bucket activities. The children have been working on developing their independence and have been encouraged to use the cutlery to feed themselves and care for our belongings by putting them in the right marked places in the classroom like our coat box and our labelled drawers. The children have been creating lots of different sensory projects and exploring making self-portraits in our expressive art and design.
