What People Say About Us

As parents we appreciate everything the school does for our child. When our child first came to Southfield,  her words were very limited, she couldn’t read or write. Thanks to this school her communication has come on, she can read and write, but most importantly you have taught her some independence. I never thought my child would be able to walk, or sit in a restaurant or go on a plane. She can do all of these amazing things.

Thank you for giving our child the most magical first year, everything you have done and all his achievements have gone beyond our expectations. Seeing him come to the gate everyday and wait for his safe people to arrive, we are unbelievably proud, let alone all his academic accomplishments.

When you have a child like ours, you come to accept you may not hear their voice or see them achieve milestones like neurotypical children. I love him exactly the way he is, but Southfield came along and made magic happen, now I see glimpses into his extraordinary mind, we’ve seen him trust staff, play with his peers, and know that school is a safe space to be exactly who he is!
