Message from the Headteacher

It is my absolute pleasure to welcome you to Southfield School.

Our vision is simple yet powerful: to support every child to thrive during their time at Southfield School and to ensure they are fully prepared — socially, emotionally and academically — for the next steps in their education and beyond.

At Southfield, we pride ourselves on treating every pupil as an individual. Your child could be my child, and with that in mind, we are committed to providing the very best educational experiences to shape a successful future. Education is not just about today, next week or even next year — it is about who your child will become at 16, 19 and 25.
As a dedicated team, we work collaboratively to ensure your child grows in confidence, develops independence, recognises their strengths and is equipped to achieve a fulfilling and successful future.

Team Southfield feels truly privileged to work with your child. Watching them grow in confidence, build meaningful relationships, communicate their wants, needs, dreams and aspirations — and supporting them to achieve these — is at the heart of what we do.

Southfield is a school that does what it says on the tin. We have high aspirations and big dreams for every child in our care.
Every child deserves a champion — and we will be that champion for your child.

We look forward to welcoming your child on this journey with us.

A bright future for all.

Angela O'Rourke
