Year 6 Jays had the opportunity to visit Hertfordshire Showground and attend the food and farming day. We were really fortunate to get to participate in many different experiences including tasting freshly cooked food from the farmer's kitchen, meeting the emergency services and taking a trailer ride. We also saw how honey was made, how to grind flour and discovered the importance of recycling.

The highlight for the children was watching the dog and duck show and the sheep show, where they got to see sheep dance! All children were presented with a goody bag as well.

The rainy weather didn't put us off and I am so proud of our children, they all followed the Behaviour Charter and made my job incredibly easy!
