Owls & Hummingbirds class had a wonderful time on their canal boat trip. The children had the opportunity to sit at the back and see how the boat is driven. Most of them sat on the deck and watched the ducks.  They also had the chance to help out at the locks! Inside the boat, we relaxed, had our lunch and snacks together, and did colouring and reading. 

Pupils loved looking out of the windows, helping open and close the canal locks and going for a walk along the canal path. A great day out, made even better by the lovely weather.
