  • Year 6 Leavers' Prom – A Beautiful Celebration of Growth, Friendship and Achievement

The Year 6 Leavers' Prom was a truly wonderful occasion and a fitting celebration of our pupils' time at Southfield School. The afternoon was filled with laughter, smiles and special memories for all, the provided an opportunity for everyone to come together and reflect on the incredible journey our pupils have taken.

As we watched them arrive looking confident and proud, it was impossible not to think about how far each and every one of them has come. Throughout their time at Southfield, our pupils have grown and flourished in their own unique ways. They have overcome challenges, celebrated successes, developed new skills and built memorable friendships.

The prom was not just a celebration of the end of primary school, it was a celebration of resilience, determination and personal achievement. Every pupil's journey has been different, and we are proud of the progress each one has made. Seeing them enjoying the evening together, sharing memories was a reminder of everything they have accomplished during their time with us.

As they prepare to take their next steps, we want them to know that they will always remain a valued part of Southfield. We have been privileged to watch them learn, grow and discover their strengths, and we leave them with our very best wishes for the exciting opportunities that lie ahead.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all of our parents and carers. The achievements of our pupils are the result of a strong partnership between home and school. Your encouragement, support and dedication have played an essential role in helping your children succeed. Open and positive communication has always been key, allowing us to work together to meet pupils' needs and support them on a day-to-day basis. We are incredibly grateful for the trust you have placed in us and for the many ways you have been part of your child's Southfield journey.

To our Year 6 leavers: thank you for the joy, enthusiasm and individuality you have brought to our school. We are immensely proud of everything you have achieved and all that you have become.

Congratulations, Year 6. Your Southfield journey may be coming to an end, but your next adventure is only just beginning. We are so proud of you all and wish you every success and happiness for the future
