Christmas 2023 round up
From December 13th, Christmas began at Southfield. We started with Christmas dinner and continued with days filled with Jupiter Choir coming in and singing Christmas and Disney songs with us, and Father Darren came to visit and spoke to us all about the Nativity story and the meaning of Christmas.
We had a special visit from Santa who gave a gift to every child and all children had extra gifts to take home due to the kindness and generosity of the customers at St.Albans Dunelm store, who had donated gifts to the children here at Southfield. Our Junior Leadership Team, went with staff on a trip to say thank you to Dunelm staff for supporting our school.
FOSS held a Christmas raffle where we had 35 prizes and lucky first prize winner won £100 cash!
We had class parties, yummy food and party games and we had a celebration disco for all the children that had outstanding attendance this term.
The Junior leadership team, helped us deliver some donated gifts and handmade cards to a local care home for elderly people that may not get any cards and gifts from family.
What a week Christmas had been for Southfield. Everyone was definitely ready for a well earned rest ready to start the new year in January.
Merry Christmas from all at Southfield.
