Archery competition December 2023
Fri 08 Dec 2023A few of the children from Jays and Blackbirds were invited to take part in an Archery Competition at Ridgeway Academy. All the children improved their aim during the competition. Oscar won the medal for the highest score from Southfield and Tiegan won the medal for the most improvement during the session. We were delighted to be informed by the organiser that they were very impressed with the children’s patience and sportsmanship that they displayed while waiting for their turn. Another outstanding performance from Southfield pupils.

We have been coming up with ideas on what we would like on the playground and how this will keep us safe. We have also been thinking of ideas of what we can do to celebrate Anti-Bullying week and Children in Need. We decided on being kind to each other and free hugs from the Southfield Bear when anyone needs it. For Children in Need we held a competition to name the new Southfield Bear and Ollie in Woodpeckers won with his name ‘Teddy’ for the bear.
